Fat Mamaz

The food was simply delicious. The shrimp and grits nearly brought me to my mamas table. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Parking lot is small so when they are busy it’s not easy parking.

Holy moly it was a rainy day and work was slow. We went to grab some breakfast from Fat Mama's. I'm glad we did. Their pricing for the portions is amazing. The flavors . For a hole in the wall that has a drive through too. Don't miss out

I am staying in Jacksonville this week and stopped in to fat mamaz for breakfast. Great authentic place. JT made me a special seafood omelette that was outstanding. Thanks

We decided to try out Fat Mamaz while our tire was being worked on next door. Great food and friendly service! We got the classic shrimp and grits, the jerk shrimp and grits, and the waffle. The shrimp and grits were DELICIOUS! The only thing was the yolk in the egg wasn’t runny, but the flavors were still outstanding! Our kids really enjoyed their waffle too! We agreed it was good quality and value for the price as well. We look forward to coming back and trying some of the other menu items!

Listen, I heard about Fat Mama’z and I had to try it for myself…my people tried the fat plate with no bacon add sausage…(forgot to ask about turkey options but I ain’t mad) and I had the shrimp and grits no sausage extra shrimp. It was super good, not greasy, well cooked and seasoned. You get a lot of food!! The wait for me was not so bad, to be expected when it’s cooked to order. They do close at 3 so you gotta catch them early! Will be back to try the curry shrimp and grits! #BlackOwned #WomenSupportWomen

This is the place to go if you want some good home cooking. Food is great and they give you some groceries at this place. It's hard to find a local small business restaurant that beats out the competition and corporate chains. High quality food while beating the cost of places like McDonald's or Dunkin donuts.That's a winning combination for long term success. The people leaving anything less than 5 stars on their reviews should be ashamed of themselves!I always get the breakfast burrito at this place and never leave disappointed.

Everything was delicious, and reasonably priced. Portions are large. The pancake was exactly how a pancake should be, with perfect crispy edges. Steak fries were nice and saucy, steak burrito was huge and fresh. The grits were made with cream cheese, I'm pretty sure I could order anything from here and it would taste homemade. Kudos to this place

I rarely give 5 star ratings but if you want am awesome hole in the wall place to eat? This is it!! Don't leave tour tastbuds at home!! The Bacon Rach Chicken fries are to die for. Had the XL Steak and cheese Philly and it was the most tender Philly I've ever had. The Bacon Grilled cheese was excellent as well. Parking is a little tight if its super busy. The A/C could be better and the bathroom was really stuffy, but if your there for that, then you're missing out on the awesomeness of the menu! WE WILL be back!
